Industrial Fluid Treatment Applications

The industry proven MYCELX HRM™ (Hydrocarbon Removal Matrix) cartridge products are designed to remove hydrocarbons ranging from MYCELX - Industrial Waste Water Treatment systemraw BTEX to crude oil, sheen, chlorinated solvents, PCBs, POPs, TBT, and organically bound metals from wastewater. The technology allows the filters to permanently remove the pollutants in a single pass with less than 1 psi of pressure drop (even when fully saturated). Saturated MYCELX cartridges and can be safely incinerated and even used to generate energy due to their high BTU content.

Water Filter Cartridges for Industrial Waste Water Treatment Systems

MYCELX cartridges can be applied to tank berms, waste drums, rinse water, loading and unloading berms, process water. Specific cartridges are offered for bilge water, machining fluids, stormwater, compressor condensate, PCB contaminated water, and high temperature water.

E.M.R.P. Inc. offers a full line of 316 stainless steel cartridge systems with single unit flow rates from less than 1 gpm to 780 gpm. The cartridges are also available in bulk and are designed to fit standard 10", 20", and 30" DOE (double open end) housings.

MYCELX 5 Micron Industrial Filters

All MYCELX industrial filters are engineered to remove hydrocarbons ranging from gasoline to oil from water in a single pass. MYCELX instantly solubilizes the PCB compounds and bonds them to its surface, keeping them from separating and emulsifying. MYCELX is also able to remove Sheen, Synthetic and Natural Oils, BTEX, PCBs, Chlorinated Solvents, and organically bound metals.

All MYCELX industrial filters are engineered to remove hydrocarbons ranging from gasoline to oil from water in a single pass. The MYCELX HT filters were designed for water streams up to 200 Degrees Fahrenheit. MYCELX instantly solubilizes the hydrocarbon compounds and bonds them to its surface, keeping them from separating and emulsifying. High Temp Industrial FilterMYCELX can also remove mechanical emulsions, Chlorinated Solvents, PCBs, and organically bound metals.

M30 PCB Pollutant Removal Industrial Water Filters

All MYCELX industrial water filters are engineered to remove hydrocarbons ranging from gasoline to oil from water in a single pass. The MYCELX PCB filters were designed to remove low levels of all types of PCBs (Polychlorinated Biphenyls) M30 PCB Removal 
            Industrial Water Filtersdown to allowable discharge levels (typically 0.5 ppt). MYCELX instantly solubilizes the PCB compounds and bonds them to its surface, keeping them from releasing. MYCELX PCB filters can also remove low level BTEX (Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, & Xylene) components.

MYCELX EB MachineKleen Cartridges

For Semi-Synthetic and Mineral Oil Based Machining Fluid Tramp Oil Removal Mycelx EB MachineKleen Cartridges are engineered to remove tramp oils from Semi-Synthetic and Mineral Oil(natural) machining fluids. These macining fluids typically emulsify and hide a percentage(1-10%) of the tramp oils causing heat transfer, quality, and lubricity issues. The Mycelx cartridge instantly removes these emulsified tramp oils, but leaves the machining fluid package fully intact.

PermaKleen

PermaKleen has been designed for hydrocarbon removal from a wide range of filtration applications including storm drain cisterns, bag filtration systems and packed columns.

PermaKleen
As pollutants come in contact with the Mycelx, they are solubilised into the infused coating, making them hydrophobic and thickening them so they will not re-disperse into the solution. A low ash content and potentially high oil content makes incineration an attractive option for used material.
